I n the spring of 2010, we selected Tom Pryor to remodel our tiny vacation home in Crooked River Ranch into a comfortable, full time residence. While the remodel had been planned from the time we first built the house, and we worked with a fine architect to create a plan we loved, it was Tom who created the reality that exceeded our dreams. We still find ourselves in disbelief that this exquisite home is really ours!
I did the basic homework on Tom’s record prior to our first meeting, but the minute he walked through the door, we knew we had the right guy. His honesty, organizational skills and integrity came through every time we talked with a subcontractor or met with a supplier….every single individual had the deepest respect and complements for Tom, and would happily go out of their way to meet his needs.
Tom hires the best of the best subcontractors, who all take great pride in their trades and to an individual, do superb work. The craftsmanship in our home is amazing.
How many people can say their construction project was on time (to the exact day!) and under budget? Ours was. Tom quickly understood our budget constraints as well as our dreams, and worked hard with us to create a doable budget that fulfilled our desires. Throughout the project, he continued to look for ways to balance costs, as did we. He developed a schedule early on that was very clear about when we needed to make decisions. He did his part to stick to and adjust the schedule, as did we.
Last, but not least, Tom made this project fun. It was exciting and pleasurable every day during construction. We were comfortable travelling for extended periods of time during construction, because we knew our home was in good hands… and enjoyed several vacations while the remodel was in progress. That alone, is testimony to Tom’s competence.
My advice? Look no further, and hire Tom Pryor to do your project. We recommend him with not a single reservation. Stay out of his way, let him do what he does so well, keep your side of the agreements, and you will be absolutely delighted with the result, as we are.
